Good questions Erik,
First off, for the June Podman Community Meeting (PCM), we do have
a bit more topics than usual for this particular meeting. In general I
like to leave at least 15 minutes for the Open Forum with a 5 minute
ending for the next meeting. That last 5 minutes usually gets chewed up
by the Open Forum questions. I suspect that one or two of the topics
might go under their allotted time and we'll regain from that. Beyond
that, we generally wrap up the recorded piece of the meeting at the top
of the hour, but we usually have a decent amount of folks that hang on
for a bit afterwards if there's still questions floating around.
As far as where to catch us outside of this meeting, the two that
come to mind quickly are the devconf conferences
(
https://www.devconf.info/), especially so the CZ and US ones. The one
in India is hard for most of us to attend due to timezones or travel
distance. We also just started the Container Plumbing Days conference
(
https://containerplumbing.org) this past spring and plan to bring it
back in Spring 2022. We also do on occasion get invited to talk on
OpenShift.TV and other casts like that. I think we need to do a better
job advertising our upcoming appearances (note to self) for things like
that.
I believe all of the maintainers are on this email list, so if
you'd ever like to set up a meeting to chat, either directly to one or a
few of us, just ask for a meet and we'll try our best. Or if you or
others would just like a "Ask the Maintainers" type of meeting beyond
the PCM, I'd be happy to set something up as called for.
As Dan suggested, we're always happy taking topics for the
meetings, regardless of who's presenting. So if there's something
someone wants to learn more about, send an email to this list and I'll
try to line up the right people for a future meeting.
HTH,

Thanks, I will when the time is right. Currently I'm more concerned
with learning how similar requests are usually handled.
Happy to read your experiences, Dan, and also other's.
Best,
Erik
