There _is_ activity to introduce upstream podman testing on 64bit ARM. So that will improve in the future. There's also likely much more downstream testing on 64bit ARM. In any case, I expect you'd have better luck here (assuming aarch64 hardware - Piv3 and 4 I think). I'd also suggest using the Fedora images for easy `crun` availability.
