Hi guys.
I thought this must be trivial & common yet I failed to find here on the
list & the net, any info on:
how to keep subuid & subgid in sync across different PCssystems?
Would it be simply a matter of keeping all relevant /etc bits in sync -
naturally I'm thinking all the bits which are important to _podman_
Hi,
I know for sure this is possible (at a high-level) with FreeIPA. I use
to be an expert in this field, but it's been a long while, so my
knowledge is fading :(
I believe the way it works is via the NSS libraries/facility
(/etc/nsswitch.conf) and probably(?) through SSSD to the IPA server.
Setting this up to not use SSSD and/or point someplace other than IPA is
beyond my (aging) knowledge.
Hopefully this helps get you looking/googling in the right places to
solve your needs.
