If you're just looking for a containerized desktop app, you might want to
try Flatpak instead of Buildah. Here's an article about getting started:

I've been running Flatpak on my RHEL 8 laptop with great success. Pretty
good integration and nice sandboxing features.
If you're doing this as an exercise or development push on Buildah
specifically, then ignore me!

Can I install an Linux app in a buildah container, that when launched
runs
a GUI, and have that GUI displayed on the host OS/desktop?
Any instructions/examples on how to do this would be helpful.
For starters, the chrome browser for example.
- Host OS: RHEL 8.x
- buildah container: running latest RHEL UBI 8.x
