Podman Desktop has a new release: you can check milestone v0.9.0 and Release Notes

Downloads are available from the download section of the Podman Desktop website

Major enhancements are:

• Update to Podman 4.3.0
  Following the release of Podman 4.3.0 we've updated the windows and macOS installers that we're embedding. Podman Machine Windows installer has a new fresh look and this updated installer is now including a Code Signing Certificate.

This release contains new enhancements around Podman Pods and Kubernetes Pods:

• Kubernetes switch of context from the tray icon:

• Create a Podman pod from containers

Select some containers and create a Podman pod to group all these containers. They'll share a common network and you can also export this pod as Kubernetes yaml.

• Deploy to a kubernetes cluster a Podman Container or a Podman Pod

Leveraging the podman kube generate feature. Deploy to Kubernetes/OpenShift cluster the Podman pod.
On OpenShift it can generate services and routes for you.

Other enhancements:

• Automatic startup of Podman Desktop on Windows and macOS

When Windows or macOS is starting, it is launching Podman Desktop. Then Podman Desktop starts the first machine.
It can be turned off in the settings of the dashboard.

• New dedicated settings page

• new icons in the navigation bar
  

Website has been improved with a lot of UI enhancements and updated content.
On the CI side, dependabot is now enabled as well as SonarCloud.
